Principal's Message
Amardeep Singh Shergill Memorial College, Mukandpur has been at the vanguard of academics since 1994. Truly saying, while taking the administrative duties as a Principal of this college, feelings of both elation and gigantic responsibilities overpowered my thought process strongly. Under the aegis of University, I hope that my tenure of principalship proves to be a glorious period in the history of college. Being one of the senior faculty members, I have had the fortune to witness the foundation and establishment of this institution and I am fully committed to leave no stone unturned in the progress of the college.
I am sincerely thankful to Prof. (Dr.) Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, GNDU, Amritsar for bestowing on me this responsibility. I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Founder Chairman of Managing Committee and Padama Bhushan awardee Dr. S.S. Johl, Ex-Chancellor, Central University of Punjab, Bathinda. I am also thankful to Prof. (Dr.) Bikramjit Singh Bajwa (Dean Academic Affair), Prof. (Dr.) Karanjit Singh Kahlon (Registrar), and Prof. (Dr.) Saroj Bala (Dean College Development Council).
I salute the philanthropic efforts of S. Gurcharan Singh Shergill, Founder Chairman of Amardeep Singh Shergill Memorial Trust, Mukandpur and his associates for establishing an institution which is serving noble cause of spreading education.
I would also like to thank the members of faculty and non-teaching staff for their commendable services and at the same time welcome the students who are going to join this seat of learning.
May this college achieve glorious heights in the years to come!
